This is Toni.
The first time I met her she was holding her mom’s hand.
She was very petite, slight, tiny.
I remember, at that moment, her eyes.
She was the runt of a large family whose shadow within which she stood.
As I looked in her eyes I heard her mom speaking…
“Confidence”, “Self-esteem”, “Assertiveness”
A dark cloud of a question hung in the air…
“Can track help her?”
As I looked in her eyes I could see a spark. A tiny spark.
And I knew.
Today, she illuminates her world.
This is Toni…
This is why I coach.
